11th Internet Chess Tournament “Ciudad de Dos Hermanas”

One year more all the world’s Internet chess attention is focused on the Seville city of Dos Hermanas (south of Spain), where the most important Internet chess tournament is being held, the 11th Internet Chess Tournament "Ciudad de Dos Hermanas"
The event is taking place during this week on the ICC Internet Chess Club, the world’s main Internet chess club. Sparks are setting off on their servers with the frenetic activity of more than 1200 players, fighting for the 2.000 euro first prize, as well as all the special prizes and raffles.
Not only great players participate: many chess fans will have the opportunity to play against one of the best players in the world at rapid chess in one of the 12 qualifiers that take place until Wednesday. The best 32 will qualify for the finals, and play a KO on Friday and Saturday.
After the first games, there are already six qualifiers: Grand Masters Lázaro Bruzón (Cuba), Hikaru Nakamura (USA), Farruk Amonatov (Tijkistan), Alexander Lastin (Rusia)  and international Masters Ismael Karim (Marruecos) y Alexander Lenderman (USA).
